My answer can be found in the question:-> in these brakets []
: I was wondering [dON'T wonder...think ] how Ayn Rand would respond to the cosmological argument for the existence of God.
: The cosmological argument goes something like this:
: 1) Something cannot come from nothing. (A rational, Ayn Rand statement)
[Correct]
: 2) If this is the case, how did the universe come into existence? (How could a big bang come out of nothingness, etc)
[It didn't ]
[The so called "Cosmological Argument" is inherently flawed. Just apply the argument itself on the implicit umption that it makes on God's existance.
Simple: "do you think God came out of nothingness to begin with?" ]
One of the arguments which can negate the concept of God's existance.
Think of more you will find many :)
