The reason Mr.Justice Thomas dosen't ask questions during oral arguments, I know because I've met him is due to the reason that he would prefer to listen, rather than speak. It is only logical to let the attorney's argue and make their case while you listen rather than continuing to interrupt them so that they never finish. Continue the way you are Justice Thomas, your doing great work, and I hope you remain on the court for many years to come.
